A Couple More...

Being Russell

Russell went into the cupboard this morning and came out with this on his head.... He has been putting EVERYTHING (and I mean everything) on his head. But this one actually made sense and was cute and funny!. I tried to get a good picture of it...this was as good as I could get....

A Boy After His Mothers' Heart

Most of you know I have a passion (or rather obsession) with horses. Long, boring story for most. Short story here, It was a delight to introduce my son to the animal I find most beautiful and magical. (Sorry Brian, I know how much you dislike them, but Russell had to meet one eventually) :) And it looks like he LOVED IT!!

These are old pictures from our trip to California in May to see my family. These two are his cousins. EmmaJoe and Tucker. Tucker is 3 weeks younger than Russell. So fun to grow up together like his Mommy and I did!

Russell being Russell

No-this isn't a potty chair! But it sure looks like one! It is a step stool! He has been having so much fun climbing up on couches and chairs. He went from just starting to walk June 6, to this! Oh my! What a big boy we have!
We bought him his very own little table and chairs. He loves to "draw" and "color." Very fun to watch.
Cool dude in riding in the car.
Hanging in the garage with Daddy. His new favorite place to be. So nice to have Daddy home during the Summer.
I found this tricycle on Craigslist. Long story. We love it. A few years from Russell being able to ride it on his own, but he thinks he can ride it now!

On The Ranch

Russell and I went to visit our friend Keely and her two kids, Preston and Reese. They live in Redmond, Oregon. Russell loved seeing their ranch animals. The bunny came to him! He enjoyed the horses, bunny and kittens (not pictured) the best. The chickens he could have skipped! They liked to peck at him!

Cousin Time

These are a bit old, but none the less, a good time! Russell's Oregon cousins have a fun backyard (for now!) and invited Russell to play on their swing and trampoline!

Helping Daddy In The Garden

Brian enjoys planting and harvesting a garden just like his Grandma Arnold and Dad, Barry. Little Russell Bear loves to be outside (like me) so everybody wins! This is our third year with this garden...we'll see if it is the best yet.
My favorite is is in the back-the grape vines. They are Concord grapes. Barry gave them to us literally as three brown sticks 3 years ago. Now they are blooming!! Patience! Hoping for fruit this year, but maybe it'll be next year.... :)
